"Arielle After Haircut, Paris 1982" 16x20 Vintage Silver Gelatin Print by Helmut Newton
Arielle Burgelin was one of Newton's favorite models and was the subject of many of his nude pictorials. She decided to try modeling from an aristocratic family, working with many well-known photographers, including Helmut Newton. In this picture, the elegant haircut is offset by the jagged edges of hair all over her shoulders. It has become one of Newton's most coveted images.
