The Helmut Newton "Private Property" Collection represents the only selection of vintage silver gelatin prints available to collectors recognized by the Helmut Newton Estate. The "Private Property" exhibitions were curated by Global Images partner Norman Solomon in the 1980's for Newton and exhibited in London, Paris, and New York. At the time the work did not sell well and after years of working with Newton he gifted Norman Solomon the images and rights to the images remaining. After Newton's passing the agreement between Solomon and the Estate was amended in 2012 and to this day remains the only agreement in existence to offer original prints with Certificates of Authenticity.
Each vintage print is beautiful silver gelatin print and exhibits the beautiful qualities silver gelatin prints are renowned for. The rarity and provenance of these prints has made them sought after by collectors and a great addition to any collection.
