Perspex Prints

A modern technique, the face of a Perspex print adheres a C-Print directly to a piece of acrylic (also known as plexiglass, Perspex or Lucite) with a clear, pH neutral adhesive. The verso is mounted to an aluminum composite backed with a wood or metal cleat, ready to be hung. The mounted C-type prints are well protected and are a modern update to framing, giving Perspex mounted prints the illusion of floating off the wall without the added border of a traditional frame.  Unlike others who offer an acrylic mounted option by printing the image directly onto the aluminum surface, our process starts with a printed C-Print to ensure a vibrancy and fidelity to the colors of the original work.

With Slim Aarons photography, we've found the richness of his colors really stand out in a C-print over an inkjet print and that Perspex framing maintains that vibrancy where a traditional frame may dull it.
