Playboy Legacy Collection “Sweetheart Of The Month" is an original fine art print featuring Marilyn Monroe and is the most famous Playboy photograph of all time. It was shot in 1949 by renowned photographer Tom Kelley and was published in the December 1953 issue of Playboy.
This particular work is the last from a collection of 10 acquired directly from Hugh Hefner and Playboy Enterprises. Image is a beautiful silver gelatin print measuring approximately 20x24 with Hugh Hefner's signature on the bottom right next to the Playboy Bunny stamp. Each image is embossed with the iconic Playboy Bunny logo and is accompanied by its own unique certificate of authenticity. This item comes with an additional Playboy Certificate signed by Aaron Baker, Curator for Playboy Enterprises.
The last public sale of this exact print from this collection sold for $30,000 at Julian's Auction House in Los Angeles, CA a few years ago.
