Arguably the most recognized and collectable image of the Hollywood starlet. The film was difficult to shoot with Wilder and Marilyn engaging in a n emotional love/hate relationship. Eventually the final scenes were filmed in Los Angeles and the image of Marilyn with her dress blowing up became a symbol of the women’s sexual movement of the 50’s.
