Slim Aarons “Poolside Gossip” (16x20 Archival Print with COA, 1970)
One of Slim Aarons’ most iconic photographs, Poolside Gossip was captured in January 1970 at the Kaufmann Desert House in Palm Springs, California.
The image features Helen Dzo Dzo Kaptur, a former fashion model, in white lace, and Nelda Linsk, wife of art dealer Joseph Linsk, in yellow, seated by the pool with the San Jacinto Mountains as backdrop. Today, the Linsks remain the owners of the Kaufmann Desert House, further cementing the image’s lasting legacy.
This is a 16 x 20 archival print, issued through the Getty Images Gallery, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
A true mid-century cultural icon, Poolside Gossip represents Slim Aarons’ vision of glamour and leisure among the elite.
