Playboy Legacy Collection “Sweetheart Of The Month” original fine art print featuring Marilyn Monroe and is without question, the most famous Playboy photograph of all time. It was shot in 1949 by renowned photographer Tom Kelley and was published in the inaugural December 1953 issue of Playboy. Playboy founder Hugh Hefner purchased the image from Kelley for $50 and Monroe was never compensated directly for her appearance in Playboy.
